THE COURSES

My certificated courses include all levels from beginner (Shoden) through to Practitioner level (Okuden) and Master Teacher level (Shinpiden). (For more details please click on the course title on the right).

My courses are held in a calm and supportive environment in Victoria, Central London.  There is a maximum of 6 students on each course. The day will be light hearted, enjoyable and enlightening.  I use a combination of home study and a practical training day (two training days for Reiki Master Teacher level) which I believe is a more effective way to teach and learn.

You can choose to stay at First Degree for as long as you wish but most people move on to Second Degree, although I would recommend that you wait for at least two months before doing this.  The time in between will give you the chance to get used to working with the energy, both on yourself, family and friends, as well as to fully assimilate the experience of Reiki 1. Reiki Level 2 gives you the opportunity to deepen and intensify your experience of Reiki.  This is also the Practitioner course. The Reiki Master Teacher level is taken six months after Second Degree and qualifies you to teach Reiki, should you wish to do so. More importantly, Reiki Mastership represents the end of one journey and the beginning of another in your spiritual development.

There are many different forms of Reiki courses available in the West, some of which have moved far away from Reiki’s Japanese roots and the teachings of its founder, Mikao Usui.  Reiki was originally about self treatments and developing your spirituality.  Although I teach the Original Japanese form of Reiki, which is simple yet very powerful and uncluttered and use Reiju empowerments at all levels, I do include Western style treatments and techniques, and at Master Teacher level I also carry out a Western style attunement.

Course materials
These are extremely comprehensive and provide more than you can expect from other courses.  All courses consist of a Home Study pack, audio cds, including a dvd at Master Teacher level.  These materials are also an invaluable reference after your training day.

Student support
After completing your Reiki course you are entitled to free membership of a Reiki internet discussion group and you also have my support before or after courses, should you need it.  All you have to do is email me with any queries.

Those of you who reach Reiki Master Teacher level and decide to teach, will have access to materials for your own courses.
